Designed with modern safety systems and greater operational efficiency, Menawethan will help ensure essential supplies continue to reach the islands throughout the year.

“For island businesses, residents and our freight customers, this vessel provides greater resilience, increased capacity and a service designed to meet the needs of the Isles of Scilly for decades to come.
“We are incredibly proud to bring Menawethan into service and would like to thank everyone who has played a part in making this day possible.”
