Supporting the Telegraph housing project

Isles of Scilly Freight has played a vital logistical role in the delivery of plant, equipment and personnel to St Mary’s for the construction of 10 new homes at Telegraph. This project is being undertaken by the Duchy of Cornwall which has appointed local construction firm S J Quick & Sons as the main contractor.

The development brings much-needed housing to the islands and marks a significant step forward in supporting the local community.

Throughout the summer of 2025, nearly 400 tonnes of aggregate was delivered to ensure works could start smoothly in September.
